Quick little update because I know I’ve said I was back for good so many times, but depression is a literal bitch. Sorry for my grammar, but I have no other way to describe it. I’d love to be able to actually write about it one day and quit holding all of my frustration in, but for the time being, I feel like it’s better this way.
On a more positive note – my photography. My sister-n-law, Kelly, and I have created a business and we work together and we’ve found that people love having two photographers instead of one for many reasons: two different styles, double the images, different creative outlooks. I could go on and on, but I wanted to share some photos from a newborn session I did a couple of months ago. Continue reading “Newborns”
Relating back to my post about buying no more makeup – I’ve done great and haven’t bought ANY new beauty products as far as beauty goes as I’m truly trying to use up what I have (which is more than I’ll ever admit). And it doesn’t hurt that I’m saving quite a bit of money during this break 🙂
But, I’m back and things are honestly going very well. I needed a social media break as I feel like those are healthy to take every now and then. I’ve recently turned a hobby into a job and I’m loving it! I feel like everyone is creative in their own way somehow and my creative outlet just happens to be looking through the viewfinder of a camera. It’s been that way for as long as I can remember to be honest; taking it as far back as my Barbie Polaroid when I was probably like 5/6 and I really haven’t put a camera down since then.
My work has only progressed and gotten better with learning more about every aspect of a camera and editing programs. I don’t claim to be the best, because there is always going to be better. And I don’t claim to know everything there is to know about the camera and software I use, but I’m learning and I love learning about things I’m passionate about!
With that being said, I’m going to start a new series on here. I know it’s probably going to jeopardize the beauty followers I’ve gained, but I’m also hoping it’s going to bring in photography related bloggers and the more tech-like side followers. I can’t wait to turn my blog around and start posting my work and a little bit about each session as I’ve done about 15-18 in the past three weeks. Yes, you read that correctly.
Anyways, that’s about it for now. I hope you guys enjoy what I have in store and I’m so happy that I’m active again!!!

I’m a sucker for cute packaging and infomercial like products! Coco & Eve showed up as one of those advertisements on Instagram while I was scrolling through my feed late last night and I immediately took an interest in it. Anything, and I mean ANYTHING that has coconut oil or is coconut scented, I must own. I live for the tropical smells and their tastes, but coconut has to be my absolute favorite.
Upon stumbling upon this hair mask and the reviews, I noticed it seems quite staged and while I’m one of those people who have to try it before I give any kind of review, I’m so very tempted and have had the product sitting in the cart since about 2 am. It’s a little pricey and that’s the only thing holding me back. Continue reading “Coco & Eve – Like A Virgin”
4 Instagram pages I could stare at all day long because of their beauty and how aesthetically pleasing they are! They inspire me and help me figure out which direction I want to take my own Instagram – helping in the way I edit my photos and the best pattern to post them!
Who are some of your favorites? I love following new accounts!
Within the past few months I purchased Lightroom along with a couple of preset packs from some of my favorite Instagram accounts and I absolutely love them! But while I don’t carry around my DSLR with me, every where I go, I had been on the hunt for some apps that did an equally amazing job as my Lightroom presets do whenever I use them.
